Please fill out this form if you would like to participate in our volunteer program. We will respond as soon as possible. It’s a good idea to save a copy of your answers to bring with you as an introduction.
We have a volunteer house for 8 people. For more privacy, bring a tent. We ask $5 per night for the first 2 nights in the volunteer house for you to have the time to decide if you wish to volunteer for a minimum of one month. Then there is a $10 deposit which will be returned when you hand over your cleaned sheets (we have washing machines and organic soap), after a minimum of one month here. Finally, each week volunteers must pay $20 to help us cover our expenses for food, electricity, internet, etc. and the volunteers agree to work 4 hours in the morning from 9 to 1pm (free vegetarian lunch) monday through friday.
We hope that this will be a life transforming experience for you and that you integrate as much as possible with the community. I believe that those volunteers who really put their heart into everything they do here, gain the most. Suggesting initiatives, ideas, workshops is greatly appreciated. Please let us know your skills, passions/interests, and intentions. Spanish is the first language here, though many speak english.
We are open Monday through Friday to receive visitors. Visitors may join us for lunch around 1:00 p.m. for a small donation. If you would like a tour after lunch, please let us know in advance. If you are coming with a group for lunch, please tell us how many you are bringing so we can prepare enough food.
